The pleasant layout, containing 5 artificial lakes, a diffuse presence of bunkers, the unusual rough characteristics and more than 3.000 olive trees, a mix of 2.000 orange and lemon plants and about 100 carob trees, make it quite a challenging experience for every player.
Sicily may not be an obvious choice when it comes to a destination for a golfing holiday, but the island offers an opportunity to play golf in wonderful locations and a great climate without the crowds, slow play and high green fees that are typical of many of the more established golfing destinations elsewhere in the Mediterranean.
